Developed in partnership with 10 provincial and territorial governments across Canada, this six-week online micro-course explores what digital looks like in the Canadian government context and examines digital concepts such as agile and human-centred design. Through weekly lessons sent by email, participants will learn how to apply the culture and values of the digital workplace in their everyday work.

This course provides a high-level overview of the Government of Canada Digital Standards, which constitute the cornerstone of the government's shift to digital and to becoming more agile, open and user-focused. Participants will consider the positive impacts of the government's digital standards on the everyday work of public servants and explore ways to adapt to new digital realities and mindsets.

This course aims to help managers set the conditions for their teams to reflect on what "modern government" means for the public service and to shape their practices in line with the Government of Canada's Digital Ambition.
