This online self-paced course uses the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development as a case study to assist learners in gathering insights on the key considerations involved in the development of an effective and sustainable policy implementation strategy. Participants will share their ideas on how to identify a policy problem, select appropriate policy instruments, acknowledge the stakeholder environment, conduct a risk assessment, and evaluate implementation success.
Privacy in the Government of Canada
This course presents an overview of the customary roles and responsibilities of access to information and privacy (ATIP) specialists regarding the processing and protection of personal information held by the government. Participants will learn how to process personal information throughout its retention period, as well as how to manage privacy breaches and conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs).
