The Standard Payment System supports government operations by issuing receiver general payments and processing interdepartmental settlements across the federal public service. This course introduces the Standard Payment System, its functions, its interface, and the roles and responsibilities of different user types. Participants will learn how to perform various tasks and navigate the Standard Payment System with confidence and accuracy.
Topics include:
- completing post-issue activities
- processing Canadian priority payments
- issuing foreign payments
- managing interdepartmental settlements
- handling cheque custody and printing
