Description

With the rapid evolution of technology and shift to hybrid work, it is becoming more complex than ever to navigate privacy obligations in the digital workplace.

This informative event will explore how federal government institutions can best meet their privacy obligations when managing employees in the digital workplace. The discussion will cover a wide range of topics, such as innovative staffing practices, including the use of digital tools and AI for recruitment, and privacy considerations of adapting to hybrid work environments, from safeguarding personal information to employee monitoring and employee rights.

Participants will learn practical measures to identify and manage privacy risks, promote accountability and transparency, and protect the personal information of current and future employees working for the Government of Canada.
