Description

Inclusive assessment in staffing is essential for identifying talent accurately and making fair, consistent decisions. Actively addressing biases and barriers ensures assessment methods reflect the realities of diverse candidates, strengthening the quality and credibility of staffing outcomes.

This insightful event will feature a panel of speakers sharing their lived experiences related to test development, assessment delivery, and accommodations. The discussion will move beyond principles to examine what it means in practice to see candidates as whole persons, integrate trauma-informed approaches, and mitigate biases and barriers.

Participants will gain practical strategies to ensure inclusive assessments throughout the staffing process that align with established merit criteria.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Personnel Psychology Centre of the Public Service Commission of Canada.
