Description
Please note that COR102 is being archived, and because of this, currently enrolled learners who have not completed the course have until January 5, 2024 to complete their learning and receive their certificate. After that time, any incomplete progress will be lost and learners will no longer be able to complete the course. Since the course will be removed from the School’s learning platform at that time, learners will no longer have access to the content. Although there is no equivalent replacement for COR102, the online self-paced course HR-to-Pay for Managers (COR137) provides updated and modernized HR-to-pay training for managers.
Phoenix is the Government of Canada's pay and benefits application, with self-service features for employees and managers. This online self-paced course provides an overview of the self-service functions that the Phoenix system offers to managers with signing authority under section 34 of the Financial Administration Act. Participants will benefit from demonstrations on how to use the different functions available to managers to quickly and efficiently perform common tasks related to work schedules and time management.
Topics include:
- reviewing, assigning and creating work schedules
- viewing and reporting time entries
- reviewing and resolving time entry exceptions
- approving payable time
