Description

Internal auditors help their organization to achieve its objectives by providing independent and objective assurance, and advice on risk management, internal control and governance processes. This online self-paced course for new internal auditors provides a tour of the internal audit process and how internal auditors add value to their organization. Participants will learn about internal auditing practices within their own organization and will have an opportunity to explore real-life examples of the topics covered.

Topics include:

  • interpreting the policies and standards used in internal auditing
  • recalling the key elements in each phase of an internal auditing engagement
  • explaining internal auditing practices that are specific to each participant's organization
  • recognizing the importance of internal and external stakeholder engagement

Notes:
