Description

The Government of Canada collects and manages vast amounts of personal information which is subject to legislative and policy obligations designed to protect its privacy.

This informative event will provide practical advice and tools for safeguarding personal information throughout each stage of a program's information life cycle, including how to respond to potential privacy breaches.

Participants will learn how to navigate a robust privacy framework that is dependent on privacy impact assessments, transparency tools, retention practices and breach prevention strategies.
