Description

The Government procurement process aims to obtain the best value for Canadians while enhancing access, competition and fairness. This online self-paced course provides an overview for non-specialists of the different functions, policies, roles and responsibilities related to the federal procurement process. Participants will gain a more in-depth understanding of the procurement process and its different contractual phases.

Topics include:

  • understanding procurement laws and measures
  • defining contract requirements and planning considerations
  • developing a contractor selection methodology
  • developing evaluation criteria

Notes:

This course has been determined by the Secretary of the Treasury Board to be mandatory for project management and real property specialists.
