Management of the federal government's extensive real property portfolio is based on a solid framework of policies, legislation and principles. This online self-paced course provides an overview for non-specialists of real property management in the federal government. Participants will learn about the main tools applicable to real property management and the policies, roles and responsibilities of the key players involved.
Topics include:
- identifying elements of life-cycle management and its application to real property management
- examining broader issues of investment management
- reviewing the key characteristics of effective real property information systems
- understanding the role of the Management Accountability Framework
