Description
Energy Efficiency Expert Evaluation is a multidisciplinary evaluation process for identifying and implementing low-cost solutions to improving operational performance and reducing energy costs. This online self-paced course provides an introduction to managing Energy Efficiency Expert Evaluations (E4s) in federal facilities. Participants will be introduced to the basic tools required to conduct E4 inspections of government buildings and other facilities and learn how to develop practical solutions to improve their efficiency.
Topics include:
- managing the four phases of E4s: planning, discovery, correction and hand-off
- uncovering root causes of energy performance problems
- understanding the difference between commissioning, retro commissioning and recommissioning
