Description

In recognition of Data Privacy Day 2024, join the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat’s Privacy and Responsible Data Division and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as they discuss the prevention, mitigation, and management of private and public sector privacy breaches.

Drawing from real case studies, this informative event will highlight the requirements and best practices for managing privacy breaches that occur in the workplace, including steps to mitigate negative impacts, and how to report and prevent privacy breaches.

Participants will gain practical tools that they can use in the workplace, as well as in their personal lives, to prepare and react to potential privacy breaches.
