Description
In today's digital workplace, information has become a strategic asset that must be safeguarded and managed properly. This course provides a practical guide to the information management (IM) methods, tools and activities that support an effective departmental IM program. Participants will learn how to use a function-based classification structure, establish retention specifications and follow the proper process for disposing of information resources.
Topics include:
- applying function-based methodologies
- documenting practices and procedures
- developing retention specifications to facilitate the disposition process
Required equipment for virtual courses
To fully participate in the School's virtual courses, you must have a camera and a microphone.
