In the healthcare sector, artificial intelligence (AI) tools are being used to track patient data, triage care, and assist medical practitioners in reading medical images, diagnosing illnesses, recommending treatment decisions and much more.

This event unpacks a range of legal and public policy implications posed by AI technologies and examines how Canada’s complex ecosystem for healthcare, which is regulated across multiple levels of government, can explore and adopt ethical AI technologies and practices.

Participants will learn about the latest AI trends and techniques in the context of healthcare and gain a broader perspective on how AI and public policy intersect.

This event is presented in partnership with Mila – Quebec AI Institute, and is designed to connect public servants with Canada's leading AI minds.
