The Government of Canada has set out a vision for modernizing public service delivery so that it is user-centred, secure, and responsive to the evolving needs of Canadians. This vision is supported by the Policy on Service and Digital, the Digital Standards, the Digital Competencies, and other building blocks that guide and enable organizational progress. The most successful modernization initiatives leverage these supports to effectively navigate complexity and challenges.
This interactive event welcomes presenters from the public service, who will share insights on how modern digital approaches are being applied in their own teams and the often unseen work required to bring about change within complex organizations. The event will explore what is possible within the federal government and how to create the conditions that support good digital practices.
Participants will gain a better understanding of how to implement user-centred, secure, and responsive policies, services and internal processes and leave with a greater sense of agency, a shared language, and practical ways to connect their daily work to the Government of Canada’s digital direction.
