Description

October is Cyber Security Awareness Month, an important time to reflect on the essential role public servants play in safeguarding public information, data and infrastructure. This year’s theme is all about stepping up the behaviours, habits, practices, readiness and resilience that lead to cyber fitness.

This event will explore trends and emerging patterns in cyber attacks, how public servants can react and reinforce their cyber-safety practices, the consequences of weak cyber fitness, and multiple perspectives on how to strengthen the Government of Canada’s online security.

Participants will gain important practical tips on how to incorporate cyber security into their daily lives to stay safe at home and at work.
