Description

October is Cyber Security Awareness Month, an internationally recognized campaign that helps Canadians stay secure online by teaching them simple steps to protect themselves and their devices. The theme for 2024 is “Generation Cyber Safe: Because Online Security Knows No Age,” focusing on the unique strengths every generation has when it comes to staying safe online.

This event will explore the importance of taking personal responsibility for safeguarding data, information and systems by employing cyber security best practices and knowing how to prevent cyber attacks at work, which will lead to greater protection of Government of Canada information and assets.
