Every few years, governments across the world rally around a new trend, tool or theme that promises significant transformative potential. Some will become global leaders, while others will either adapt quickly or ignore it as a passing fad.
This event will examine how transformative shifts are part of a deeper cycle of evolution within government and other public institutions, and position them as public goods of public service, highlighting similarities that transcend traditional policy silos and shape public sector systems and structures.
Participants will learn how opportunities for whole-of-government collaboration can be maximized while managing risks, including overreliance on private sector providers and central agencies.
