Description

As the world becomes increasingly digital, public service skill sets and service delivery must follow suit. This course provides a high-level overview of the Government of Canada Digital Standards, which constitute the cornerstone of the government's shift to digital and to becoming more agile, open and user-focused. Participants will consider the positive impacts of the government's digital standards on the everyday work of public servants and explore ways to adapt to new digital realities and mindsets.

Topics include:

  • understanding the current context and enablers of a digital government
  • defining the Government of Canada Digital Standards
  • recognizing digital behaviours in relation to the Digital Standards
  • applying the Digital Standards in the context of your work
