Description

An Agile mindset values innovation and recognizes the importance of experimentation and problem-solving skills within teams. This online self-paced course introduces the concepts, tools, practices and behaviours that support an Agile culture in the modern workplace. Participants will review the principles that drive agility individually and within teams, in order to encourage and sustain an adaptive culture across the public service.

Topics include:

  • exploring the Agile mindset and culture
  • discovering Agile practices and new ways of working
  • identifying the common behaviours and functions of Agile teams
  • transitioning towards a more Agile working environment
  • comparing traditional teams with Agile teams and their ways of working

Notes:

This course presents a series of short videos designed to set the foundation for the practices, principles, tools and frameworks broadly referred to as "Agile." Topics include the advantage of iteration and the opportunities and challenges of adopting new Agile ways of working.
