Description
The digital economy is revolutionizing the way that goods and services are created, altered, transacted and consumed. Canadian citizens, businesses and organizations are increasingly relying on digital technologies and new data to connect with each other, produce, innovate and compete in the marketplace. These profound shifts have led to increased attention on the assumptions and workings of the digital economy, as well as potential threats, risks and responses.
The third event in the Economic Security in an Era of Global Disruption Series will examine the intersection of the digital economy and digital technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, and its implications for national security. Speakers will also share their insights on how individuals and organizations are exploiting data and digital technologies for commercial, technological, military and intelligence advantages.
Participants will learn to better understand how digital technologies are reshaping the world's landscape and how control of digital technologies is the new "great game" from both economic and national security perspectives.
