One of the four mission areas of the 2023-2026 Data Strategy for the Federal Public Service is to empower the public service with the modern data skills and tools it needs to best serve Canadians.
This event will use practical examples from Canada to explain how to define, measure, and develop individual and organizational data literacy and competency skills, including which competencies are the most important, which tools are the best, and how to design data literacy initiatives specifically for public servants.
Participants will gain a better understanding of the foundational role of data competency frameworks and other innovative practices to advancing the development of data skills across the public service.
