Description

The 2024 GC Data Conference took place on February 21 and 22, 2024. With the theme of "From Insight to Foresight", the GC Data Conference 2024 explored issues and opportunities related to the responsible use of artificial intelligence, data and process automation, and applying human-centred principles to data activities.

This thought-provoking event features Chantal Bernier and Eric Rancourt discussing the recent developments around data protection in Canada and other jurisdictions, key themes in building strong legal foundations, public trust and safety, and the significance of legislative developments.

Participants will obtain insights into the importance of legislation, both in Canada and internationally, and learn about tools for safely mitigating privacy risks and protecting rights when working with AI and data, in both public and private sector contexts.
