Description

To commemorate Data Privacy Day on January 28, 2025, join representatives from the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat’s Privacy and Responsible Data Division, and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as they discuss responsibility, risk mitigation and management of privacy in contracting.

Designed for public servants involved in procurement as well as privacy officials, this event will provide an in-depth look at updated guidance on managing privacy throughout the procurement process, and best practices to safeguard personal information in contracting.

Participants will enhance their awareness of procurement processes to improve their organization's privacy practices in contracting, with a special focus on how to handle personal information securely and efficiently.
