Description

All public servants have an important role to play in how services are delivered and received, both within the public service and with Canadians. Being able to access timely support and resolution on HR matters increases employee satisfaction and productivity.

This knowledge-sharing event showcases the outcomes of work done by Natural Resources Canada to enable their employees to self-serve for issues related to departmental pay, leave and benefits. Representatives from NRCan's HR Branch will share their decision-making approach to finding solutions to challenges related to the availability of real-time HR support, including how to work across teams to obtain buy-in through collaboration.

Participants will learn about the value of adopting human-centred design methods to potentially solve their own service or product challenges in their own work.
