Description

In the digital age, data has become an integral part of our lives, shaping our identities and societies at an unprecedented speed and scale, and further accelerated by rapid advances in artificial intelligence.

Hosted by the GC Data Community, this event features Wendy Wong, PhD, author of We, the Data: Human Rights in the Digital Age and winner of the 2024 Balsillie Prize for Public Policy, who will explore the critical intersections between data governance, human rights, and human potential, along with the urgent need to extend these rights beyond our physical selves.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of data’s impact on humanity, including its human rights implications, and learn to navigate the technological and policy challenges of the digital landscape.
