Description

Chief Data Officers play an integral role in ensuring the responsible use and effective management of data across organizations. Their leadership is necessary for helping organizations to respond to increasing demands for data and artificial intelligence integrity as well as for the development of data talent and skills.

Hosted by the GC Data Community, this informative event will explore the accountabilities of Chief Data Officers within the federal government and highlight how they are driving the responsible use of data, advancing data management, and building the skills needed to foster an inclusive and innovative, data-driven culture—all in alignment with the 2023–2026 Data Strategy for the Federal Public Service.

Participants will gain insights from current Chief Data Officers on building organizational capacity, promoting best practices across the data lifecycle, and applying practical tools for use across the public service.
