Description

A digitally enabled and inclusive public service relies on trusted information stewardship and data-driven decision-making. As Canada’s digital government evolves, information and data management become increasingly vital for promoting transparency, fostering collaboration, and ensuring equitable access to services.

This year’s event will focus on how information management (IM) is being modernized in government by showcasing strategies, tools, and practices that are transforming how public servants manage and share knowledge. Through real-world case studies, it will also provide practical guidance on IM and data stewardship.

Participants will learn how to apply IM standards and will deepen their understanding of emerging trends and recognize their role in supporting responsible IM solutions. Topics will also include equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility related to IM practices.

This event is co-hosted by Library and Archives Canada and the School’s GC Data Community.
