With the theme “Navigating Canada’s Data Landscape,” the GC Data Conference 2026 (February 18 and 19, 2026) focused on advancing data sovereignty, government productivity, and data maturity as foundations for a smarter, more competitive, and more resilient data future in Canada.
This insightful event features Sahir Khan, Executive Vice-President of the Institute of Fiscal Studies and Democracy, who explores how data-driven insights strengthen government decision-making, build trust, and deliver better outcomes for citizens.
Participants will learn how to leverage data-driven insights to strengthen decision-making, build public trust through responsible data use, and enhance government productivity to ultimately improve outcomes for citizens in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
