Description

The foreign intelligence mandate of the Communications Security Establishment is not as well understood as its cyber security mandate, but nonetheless plays an equally important role in Canada’s national security.

This third event in the series provides an overview of signals intelligence (SIGINT), what it is, how it is used, and its history shaping government action and policy.

Participants will learn about the role of the Communications Security Establishment and gain a better understanding of how its work has positively contributed to national security outcomes in recent years.
