Description

While national security policy is a federal responsibility, different orders of government still need to cooperate and collaborate on issues of security and intelligence to ensure effective and timely responses to potential security threats.

This fifth event in the series welcomes the provincial security advisor for the Government of Ontario, who will speak about the role of his office in bridging the gap between federal security efforts and provincial security programs and activities.

Participants will be guided through how federal policies are actioned at the provincial level, with an emphasis on the importance of maintaining collaborative federal-provincial relations when it comes to national security and intelligence.
