Description

Canada plays a prominent role in continental defence and protecting North America from known and emerging threats.

This sixth event in the series will explore how the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces work with allies, including the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), to keep Canada and Canadians safe.

Participants will learn about current security threats to Canada in the Arctic, the security implications of climate change, and the role defence plays in other areas of our national security measures.
