Description

Multiple global crises—including the pandemic, climate change, and Russia's war on Ukraine—have recently linked together in ways that are significant in scope and devastating in effect.

This event features Professor Thomas Homer Dixon, Executive Director of the Cascade Institute at Royal Roads University, who will explain what a global polycrisis is, how it impacts governance systems, and what this means for the Government of Canada.

Participants will gain a better understanding of how the global polycrisis affects all aspects of governance and how to better navigate the multiple crises challenging governments today.
