Description
Mission-oriented innovation policies mobilize science, technology, and innovation to tackle complex societal challenges by setting ambitious goals and then taking a systematic approach to achieving them.
This event will feature a presentation on Mission Forward: Forging New Frontiers in Mission-Oriented Innovation Policies, a recent report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The presentation will be followed by a series of international case studies highlighted in the report, and a discussion on the resulting best practices for enabling mission-oriented innovation policies.
Participants will gain practical insights into how mission-oriented approaches can be applied to address pressing challenges, both globally and domestically.
