Developing and delivering effective government policy is a challenging process that cannot be done in isolation. This online self-paced course explores a new model for policy making that focuses on constant learning and adaptation, increased integration, and a more responsive and iterative design process. Participants will learn about the different stages of this new approach to policy development and implementation through a series of practical exercises within each module.
Topics include:
- reviewing the different stages of the policy-making process
- developing, implementing and evaluating policy in government
- breaking out of silos by approaching policy making in an integrated way
- applying course theory to real-world examples and experiences
- approaching policy making using new methods and ways of thinking
