Description

This course is designed for a large group. To accommodate this format, cameras and microphones are disabled, but participants can interact through chat, polls and Q&A.

Shared values and expected behaviours guide public servants and shape their decisions, actions and contributions to society. This course examines the core values of the Public Service of Canada, the principles of public trust and accountability, and the role of public servants in delivering policies, programs and services. Participants will renew their understanding of the importance of public service values and the impact of their work on democracy and public well-being.

Topics include:

  • understanding the roles and responsibilities of public servants
  • addressing the core values of the public service
  • identifying challenges faced by public servants
