Description

National AccessAbility Week, held May 25 to May 31, is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the valuable contributions of Canadians with disabilities and to promote meaningful actions that advance accessibility and inclusion across the country.

To mark this week, a special virtual event on Fostering Disability Allyship for a More Inclusive Public Service will bring together a select panel of public servants with disabilities to share their personal stories and insights and offer perspectives on fostering an inclusive public service through an intersectional lens.

As public servants, we have a shared responsibility towards disability allyship and must effectively challenge biases by promoting workplace inclusion through compassion, communication and collaboration.

Join us this National AccessAbility Week to help cultivate a more inclusive public service.
