Description

2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus), a key part of Canada’s commitment to gender equality. Over the past three decades, the application of GBA Plus has played a vital role in advancing inclusive decision-making across the federal public service.

This insightful event will recognize the evolution of GBA Plus over the last 30 years by highlighting the progress made, the challenges faced and the opportunities ahead. Speakers will share their perspectives on the important role of data, inclusive practices, and lessons learned when applying GBA Plus across various public service contexts.

Participants will gain a deeper appreciation of the GBA Plus process and will leave with inspiring ideas on how to strengthen and apply it in their work.

Additional learning:

To refresh knowledge of GBA Plus before or after the event, participants are encouraged to complete Introduction to Gender-based Analysis Plus (INC101).
