Description
The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is an opportunity to recognize the experiences of persons with apparent and non-apparent disabilities and to advance progress towards barrier-free and inclusive workplaces.
This event will feature discussions on accessibility in the federal public service, with a focus on key areas such as hiring processes, the built environment, assistive technologies, and public engagement. By highlighting both current initiatives and lived experiences, the event will emphasize the importance of accessibility as an integral part of organizations.
Participants will gain insights into accessibility challenges and solutions, learn from those advancing this change, and explore practical take-aways to support inclusion at work.
