Description

Understanding the history of anti-Black racism is essential to recognizing the systemic barriers and racial inequalities that persist in Canadian society today. This online self-paced micro-course presents an interactive timeline of some key events in the history of anti-Black racism in Canada. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of both the historical roots and the ongoing impacts of anti-Black racism in Canada and the world today.
