Description
Please note that this course is currently being updated, which may impact offerings between now and January 2025. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition period.
Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus) is an analytical process that supports the development of responsive and inclusive policies, programs and other initiatives. This course provides the tools needed to apply the GBA Plus process and assess the quality of the analysis for best results. By examining a real-world case study, participants will learn more about GBA Plus considerations and concepts and how to integrate them as best practices into their own work and organization.
Topics include:
- identifying the steps and key considerations of the GBA Plus process
- defining GBA Plus objectives and foundational concepts (intersectionality, equity, structures and systems)
- formulating new strategies to strengthen analysis activities
- applying GBA Plus assessment tools
Notes:
This course is delivered in two 2.5-hour sessions over 2 days. To better accommodate learners across the country, the sessions are offered at different times of the day.
This course builds on the material covered in Introduction to Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus) (INC101). It is strongly recommended that learners take INC101 before registering for this course.
