Working in a diverse and inclusive organization offers many personal and professional benefits, including improved health and wellness, greater engagement at work, and increased innovation and creativity. This online self-paced course presents strategies for becoming an advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace. Participants will learn about the key concepts of allyship and how to communicate more inclusively, while gaining awareness of their own values and social perspectives.
Topics include:
- defining the key concepts of allyship
- building awareness of one's values and social perspectives
- creating connections through inclusive communication
- identifying specific actions for becoming an EDI change agent
