Description

The role of band administrator is vital to the governance of First Nations communities. It involves overseeing the daily operations of a band office, managing the delivery of programs and services, supporting the decisions of elected council members, and implementing policies that address community needs effectively.

This event features a panel of First Nations band administrators who will share their professional experiences, discuss the complexities of their work, offer best practices, and provide insight into the evolving landscape of First Nations communities and their administration.

Participants will learn about the work being done by band administrators to ensure the effective and efficient administration of finances, infrastructure, programs, and services pertaining to First Nations affairs.
