Recognizing and valuing Inuit knowledge systems is an essential part of public servants’ work to strengthen relationships with Inuit and support Canada’s strategic interests in the Arctic. This online self-paced micro-course introduces Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (IQ), the traditional knowledge and wisdom of Inuit, and explores how its principles inform decision-making, governance, community life, and sustainable practices. Participants will deepen their understanding of Inuit worldviews and learn practical ways to reflect IQ principles in their work, supporting a more inclusive, culturally respectful, and effective public service.
