Description

Required equipment for virtual courses

To fully participate in the School's virtual courses, you must have a camera and a microphone.

Indigenous Peoples may face real barriers at each stage of the public service employment process. This course provides human resources specialists and managers with concrete ways to help facilitate the hiring, retention and advancement of Indigenous employees within the public service. Participants will gain an understanding of the realities that some Indigenous employees face in the public service, and will learn practices that can make a difference in supporting their careers.

Topics include:

  • hiring and retaining Indigenous employees
  • promoting the inclusion of Indigenous cultures within the public service
  • fostering the career development and talent management of Indigenous employees
