Description

Innovation is a key driver of economic growth and plays a vital role in shaping the future of communities across Canada. But how do incubators accelerate this progress, foster creative problem-solving, and influence government priorities to build a stronger innovation ecosystem?

This seminar brings together three of Canada’s foremost leaders in innovation and economic development. Sheldon McCormick, CEO of Communitech, Sonya Shorey, President and CEO of Invest Ottawa, and Grace Lee Reynolds, CEO of MaRS, who will share their unique insights and experiences, from scaling businesses and raising capital to leading organizations through growth and impact, while highlighting the transformative power of innovation.

Participants will learn about the role incubators play in fostering innovation and economic growth, and why their influence is essential in shaping government policies that support the broader innovation ecosystem. They will also gain actionable insights to help strengthen innovation-led growth within their own communities.
