The Supervisor Development Program: Virtual Edition will be archived on April 1, 2025. Learners who completed the Orientation and Self-Discovery for Supervisors (LPL120) course before March 31, 2024, will be eligible to complete the remaining courses in the program by March 31, 2025. While the full program is no longer available for new enrollments, learners can access and complete the introductory course, LPL125. Consult the program’s web page to learn more.
Becoming a supervisor is a significant career shift that involves taking on new responsibilities, developing new skills and adopting new behaviours. This online self-paced course provides foundational information to support public service supervisors at the start of their career transition. Participants will learn more about their new role, the expectations upon them, how to work with their new team, and how to become an effective supervisor.
