Description

To be innovative and guide change, a leader must be able to build their team's capacity to influence and challenge the status quo. This two-part course examines the team dynamics needed to create and lead a culture of confidence in the workplace. Participants will learn to apply key leadership competencies to build capacity for creation and innovation within their teams, including the capacity to challenge reality.

Topics include:

  • creating a culture of trust
  • discovering team values
  • establishing team norms
  • setting behavioural expectations
  • exploring what is needed to be creative and innovative

Course registration is reserved for the participants of the Manager Development Program: Virtual Edition (MDPv).

This course is part of the learning path for the virtual edition of the Manager Development Program (MDPv). Certification for the MDPv must be assigned by a departmental Training Coordinator or Learning Coordinator.
