To fully participate in the School's virtual courses, you must have a camera and a microphone.
Collaboration is a crucial leadership skill for creating human-centred, diverse, and productive work environments. This course explores themes that are pertinent to managers, including networking, business processes, negotiation and influence. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and share their thoughts on who they are as leaders and how they plan to continue their leadership journey going forward.
Topics include:
- exploring themes central to the manager experience
- participating in weekly collaborative virtual discussions
- practising networking and collaboration skills in a virtual environment
Notes:
Course registration is reserved for the participants of the virtual edition of the Manager Development Program (MDPv).
This course includes a mix of online and virtual classroom instruction over a 5-week period. Each week, participants will complete an online module at their own pace before meeting virtually with their classmates for a 120-minute moderator-led discussion. The course ends with a presentation by each participant on the key lessons they learned in the program.
This course is part of the learning path for the virtual edition of the Manager Development Program (MDPv). Certification for the MDPv must be assigned by a departmental Training Coordinator or Learning Coordinator. When these criteria are met, learners can Client Contact Centre to register for an upcoming offering.
