Description

Required equipment for virtual courses

To fully participate in the School's virtual courses, you must have a camera and a microphone.

Engaging visuals and strong narrative writing can transform a typical presentation into one that can build consensus and drive change. This course provides instruction on how to use storytelling and design principles to build better presentations with PowerPoint, including creating presentation decks and delivering them effectively in a virtual or physical environment. Participants will learn to identify and respond to audience needs, translate content into appealing visuals, and use simple techniques to maximize the visual impact of their presentation.

Topics include:

  • applying easy but effective design principles
  • identifying an approach and tailoring the presentation to an intended audience
  • constructing a narrative from complex information and data
  • creating and delivering decks in a virtual or physical environment
